If I had a choice, I would sleep in a rose, too. At night the canyon echos with the sound of frogs. It could be a million frogs. You would have to hear it to believe it. |

My favorite Iris loves to reproduce throughout the garden. I just move one bulb every year and a dozen more plants pop up. |

Fantastic photos. And the mosaic of the iris is so lovely!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I love the frog napping in the rose -- great shot! I love iris. Everything is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers and stunning iris...what a sweet frog in that first photo.
ReplyDeleteI love the pic of the frog sleeping in the rose! Thanks for joining Home Sweet Home!

Your irises are gorgeous Rachel and I have one similar to yours in the mosaic. We have had so much construction of new homes and businesses that the trees have been cut down and the swamp backfilled so that the chorus of spring peepers isn't heard any more. It's really sad.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to Mosaic Monday.
Maybe the swamp will come back. When we had a landslide the frogs were washed out for a couple of years (broken water main flooded) but they came back. I love the frogs!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Judith.
Gosh Rachel, I miss visiting your garden!
ReplyDeleteI Love this post and all the beauties blossoming.
It's been a fun visit in the middle of the night.
I was on the pretour of the gate and garden tour today, your garden needs to be featured next year!
