I had a very small cactus that was root bound, so I planted it in the ground. Now it is an enormous tree. It gets white giant orchid like flowers that are spectacular and last for a day. |
My garden is looking extremely festive. Summer is officially here! |

The painting is very lovely in that frame - great choice. It is hard to believe the cactus used to be a potted plant. Your garden is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful garden! Those purple flowers are stunning. My grandma is a painter and has quite a collection of vintage frames, I remember ones similar to yours hanging in her home when I was young. :)
ReplyDeleteSummer is definitely here in your garden! Adore the passion flower. Is it perennial in California? We can only grow it as an annual here in Canada.
ReplyDeleteHi Heather. Yes, the passion flower comes back every year. It would like to take over.
DeleteHi! Beautiful pictures! Love your garden, and yes, that cactus is big!
